The moment one changes mtu on ONLY one end of the link to support Jumbo Frames ( > 9000 bytes) , when OSPF is restarted it will fail to form adjacency since MTU mismatch will occur.
To ignore MTU mismatch, specify ip ospf mtu-ignore on both ends of the link.
